Worker / GPU Setup

Intended architecture for connecting contributed compute to Eudorian.

Draft

Current Status#

General-purpose worker onboarding is not documented as production-ready. This page outlines the future setup boundary without claiming supported hardware, throughput, earnings, or availability.

Do not connect production hardware yet

Worker binaries, signed releases, hardware compatibility, and network policy are not published.

Planned Connection Flow#

  • Enroll: Create a worker identity and review the contribution agreement.
  • Inspect: Run local capability and safety checks without uploading private files.
  • Authorize: Grant a clearly scoped worker token and contribution mode.
  • Observe: Monitor assigned work, usage, temperature, failures, and disconnect state.

Hardware Requirements#

Minimum VRAM, supported accelerators, driver versions, storage, network requirements, and power guidance remain TODOs pending benchmarking and security review.

Isolation and Data Handling#

The target architecture requires workload isolation, signed artifacts, encrypted transport, explicit data-retention rules, and auditable worker revocation. These are design requirements, not claims about a deployed system.
